A few weeks ago I went to see Cirque du Soleil in Seoul with a group of friends. There are 22 unique productions that are being hosted around the world. The show currently being shown in South Korea and the Philippines is Varekai and it was really incredible. The costuming, acting, performances, the spectacle, the audience interaction, the stunts and the astounding ability of all these amazing performers was mind-blowing.
My experience of the show:
too much to look at all at once -
Here are a few images from the Varekai performance taken off the Official Cirque du Soleil website.
This last guy was incredible. He is paralysed and can't use his feet to walk or stand - but performs amazing routines requiring absolute strength and control on a pair of crutches.
If you can get your grubby paws on some Cirque du Soleil tickets...
I highly recommend it!
My experience of the show:
"gasp"
"ooh"
"aah!"
