I've snapping away on my wide angle film camera all over London - and had accumulated five rolls of film to develop the other day. Picking up film is like waking up on Christmas minus the mince pies. There are so many awesome pics - so I've decided to share a few with you in different stages so that you aren't overloaded with film goodness all at once.

I title this selection:

Got a few pics developed from some of my Diana F+ film - Most of them are from our trip to Boracay - but there are a few that crept in from around English Village and the 4th of July - oh the joy of analogue! :)

A few snaps from my Diana F+ camera. Most of these pictures are double exposed using a 36mm camera adapter back. They were taken in Greece on Hydra Island and Rhodes Island.

When I went home to South Africa to visit for my brother's 21st birthday, we went to a Game Reserve called Nambiti (adjacent to the Ladysmith battlefields) and stayed at Lions Valley Lodge - (beautiful!). When I came back to Korea and started sharing my adventures with some of my Korean co-teachers this is generally how the conversation went:

Che: Look at these beautiful lomography pictures that I took in the Game Reserve!

Co-Teachers: Ah... Game Reserve is what?

Che: um.... it's like... um... Safari!

Co-Teachers: .....ok..... so... it means like the Jew!

Che: huh?

Co-Teachers: Oh I know! the Jew! The Jew!

Che: I don't understand. It's not the Jew. What are you talking about?

Co-Teachers: The Jew! I get it! The Jew!

Che:..... oh....... the zoo....!

NO. It's NOT the zoo.

I guess there are some things you just have to experience for yourself. Africa is one of them.

Dreamy

I love this picture - I took it on a long exposure at night on the corner of a busy road using my Diana F+. (Obviously I don't exactly have a tripod...) I think the film wasn't wound all the way on yet but it's come out with a really dreamy feel...

I have many cameras. A digital camera, a Diana F+ lomography camera, an Instax Polaroid camera and an Action Sampler camera. (I don't have an SLR... yet...)

The Action Sampler is super awesome and takes 4 consecutive pictures every time you click that little button. Here are a few pictures from a fun beach day that we had at Sokcho Beach in South Korea.

The following fluffy white puppy appears to be very cute and innocent...

...actually it turned on me and knocked me over in my Action-Sampler excitement. Luckily I had the camera "ready for action" (Yes, that's me lying on the floor after being knocked down by ferociously savage man-eating dog)
