oh honey....

The most gorgeous array of Honey Herbal treasures!
Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket
I was super excited to try out all the products - The Kissed by Honey whipped body mousse has the most delicious smell and it doesn't feel thick and heavy on your skin - but it is still really moisturising and nourishing  - especially good for winter when everything gets super dry from heaters and hot baths.

The sugar hand scrub is also an amazing product for winter when hands and arms (and legs especially) get all scaly and dry. This product is perfect for getting rid of dead skin and making your hands feel refreshed and smooth again. The ingredients are all natural - added bonus - and include jojoba and avocado oils. Almost makes you want to eat it, but I don't recommend that. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket
Not only does it leave your skin with the coveted Greek Goddess glow but it is also nourishing. This is a fabulous product for all over - especially on neck and shoulders if you are wearing something strappy. Or if you are just having a "mooch-around-the-house-in-your-pjs" kinda day, but still want to feel fabulous and glamorous. This will do the trick. I promise.

Don't kid yourself, croco-skin was very last season.

An awesome travel kit with a few of their headliner products including The O-Mega Shower Cream, The O-Mega Body Buff and The Super-Rich Body cream. Don't you love the packaging?! (Im a sucker for well wrapped goods haha).

I've been using the products for about a week now and so far one of my favourites is definitely the Body Buff - It's got a delicious lemony-citrus smell and pumice grains for exfoliation. You rub it all over your body on your dry skin and then wash it off in the shower. The first time I used it, I was genuinely very surprised and impressed at how smooth and soft my skin felt afterwards. Also the bonus of this product is that you use it twice in the first week and once a week there-after so it should last a while. Score. The write-ups on the back of these products are awesome - The Body Buff tag-line: Shed your scales. Anti-croco skin - what did I tell you? Photobucket

Almost all the products contain rich oils like Almond oil, Shea butter and Avocado oil - which not only help to "lock in moisture and throw away the key" but also smell delish too.

"The Boob Tube" is one of Mama Mio's star acts and has won many awards for Best Decolletage Product. The awesome blurb on the back -
Daily use will maintain this beautiful skin and over the years you will be so pleased you took the time to befriend your bust. No crinkles or droop for you - no turtle necks or even turkey necks! You are so wise to daily dose with Boob Tube, feel free to thank us in 20 years.

Yeah, you know the wise thing to do. I've been using it for a week now and I wil say I do like the results. lol. Also all the products in the Mama Mio range are created using ingredients that are perfectly safe to use when pregnant or nursing. (NB Side Note: mom, dad, warren - i am not pregnant.)

The ladies at Mama Mio have given me a product of my choice to give away on indieBerries - and since I've really become quite enamored with my new soft skin courtesy of The Body Buff product - one lucky reader has a chance to win a full-size Shed-your-scales skincare regime.

To enter - Like the Poise South Africa Facebook page (they post really cool DIY ideas, links to interesting blogs, pretty interiors and other giveaways) Then leave a comment below telling me what your favourite winter beauty tip is....

(My fav beauty tip for winter is to use brown sugar and olive oil to exfoliate your lips. But if you win the Body Buff - you can use that instead... and you won't be all sticky. lol) Winner announced Thursday.

The ladies of Beauty South Africa sent me some delicious Body Shop products to sample.... which I did with great joy! I made the cartoon above for them and you can see the rest of it if you click here

The Chocomania Shower Cream has real cocoa butter (yum) and is soap free so it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry and tight. It has the most gloriously delicious scent and you have to stop yourself from sampling it like a chocolate milkshake. lol. There are so many creams and lotions that leave you feeling  greasy and slimy (not cute) after you've put it on, but I didn't feel that at all with The Chocomania Body lotion. It's also an absolute chocolate scent-feast and I suggest applying it in an open space to prevent you from drooling on yourself (also not cute).

I've always been a fan of the Body Shop Body Butters and I really fell in love with the Japanese Cherry Blossom flavour while I was living in Korea. I've never tried the Strawberry flavour (I know) so I was very excited to give it a bash. According to The Body Shop the Strawberry Body Butter works because
Strawberry seed oil provides omega-3 and omega-4 fatty acids to repair skin’s moisture barrier, so it is smooth and supple and Community Trade shea butter moisturizes, softens and protects skin with a high level of antioxidant vitamins A, E and F.
I didn't count all the omegas but I will tell you that I've only used it for three days so far and already my skin feels so healthy and nourished and it smells great too. Win.
