an Ode to Grahamstown

(This was me. and also went to the Rat (the one [and only] pub) in pink pyjamas with sleepy-leaping-sheep all over them. it was a super comfy night AND most compliments ever.)

(also dresses as a nun, nurse, life-guard, prostitute, zebra, impala, rabbit, trailer-trash, spice-girl, school-girl, black-cat, Bridget Jones, Alice in Wonderland, Grease, greek-goddess, russian, hawaiian, robot, golfer, sailer, fisherman, cowboy and... 6 year old. we are fun.)

(me. for two years. I gave up drama because of all the grass stains.)

I love my Grahamstown friends. Every single one of you!

The zebra look. perfectly constructed using black trash bags and white acrylic paint.

(I tried to find the spice girl pictures, animal pictures and other dress up pictures on facebook. but then i ended up getting lost and creeping on people's wedding albums...um...NO CHE....
and then it was 1am - maybe next time.)

Send a message to an old school friend.

ps. please vote for indieberries here - you can vote more than once - every 24 hours :) thank ya'll

Che - I LOVE this one. Really made me miss Grahamstown and the fact that it was normal to see a guy in a big green crocodile suit out at the Rat.

Can we go back to varsity, please? Like now?

My daughter and her matric class will fit right in at rhodes. At her school wearing your pjs or dressing as a fairy/animal/hippy/ladygaga/pirate/cowboy is just an everday thing.

Based on my own experiences I am going to make five recommendations that I wish someone had
made to me to help take the fear out of fitness.
We know because they have done so for millions
of other people. Remember; there is a difference between a fattening diet and a healthy diet.

It improves blood and oxygen flow to the muscles that are recovering from
the prior hard workout. Blowing off some steam with a quick round of solo
travel fitness in the morning can make your whole day brighter.
Having some company can also make the fitness session more fun.

I'm not sure exactly why but this web site is loading very slow for me. Is anyone else having this problem or is it a issue on my end? I'll check back later and see if the problem still exists.
