Ceramics

Photobucket
Im off to ceramics painting today with Andrea - of Cleverbird Banter. We are heading to Mini Potters on Garratt Lane in Earlsfield where hopefully we will paint some lovely things. I've been looking around for some inspiration - So thought I would share a few pretties with you.
Above is some of the collection from The Style Files - very pretty and minimalist and looks pretty easy to paint. It would also be very easy to translate this pattern onto any kind of ceramic.

This patterned mug is available from Summersville shop on Etsy. This would make a cool set with different colours in the same pattern.Photobucket
These ceramics are available from the MacKenzie Childs Collection. Bright colours mixed with blacks and whites. Swoon.

And this DIY is from one of my favourite bloggers - Elsie Larson from A beautiful Mess. They used a sharpie marker to DIY this mug, but they had a few problems with the Sharpie ink running so I think proper ceramic paints would be a lot longer lasting :)

Hopefully we will create some lovely things - can't wait to show you!
